David Schechter, M.D.

Dr. David Schechter is a Board Certified Sports/Family Medicine Physician practicing in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Schechter has decades of experience with the TMS chronic pain diagnosis and treatment process. He learned under Dr. John Sarno, has written books, lectured extensively, and published research in mind-body medicine. He is in private practice in Culver City and also active in telemedicine.

Justin Barker, Psy.D.

Dr. Barker is a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked with the TMS diagnosis for many years. He received his Psy.D. at Rutgers University and after healing from TMS back pain decided to do his dissertation research on treating TMS. Dr. Barker uses a combination of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoanalytic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. He maintains a private practice in Los Angeles and co-leads the weekly TMS healing Group with Dr. Schechter.
